George Miller, the CEO of American Intercontinental University, presents his view on the importance and the need for higher education in the United States and around the world. Mr. Miller certainly has the background to speak on such an important topic; his bio is as follows:

George Miller brings more than 30 years experience in the higher education industry and currently serves as chief executive officer for American Intercontinental University (AIU). As CEO, George leads the University in the fulfillment of its mission including: the consistent implementation of policy across campuses, assuring the integrity of academic and student support programs and coordinating planning assessment and institutional effectiveness activities. George also uses his expertise to consult, most recently in February 2007 with a not-for-profit college in Georgia regarding the institution's potential for transition from two-year to baccalaureate degree-granting status.

Prior to his position as AIU CEO, George served as campus presidents for AIU Houston and AIU Dallas. George also held the president position at Paul Smith's College, Martin Methodist College along with various other positions at Tennessee Wesleyan College and University of Virginia.

George co-founded the Adirondack Center for Collaborative Initiatives, an organization committed to community and economic development in the North Country region of New York. In addition to serving on civic boards, George is actively engaged in higher education accreditation activities and has chaired accrediting teams for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the University Senate of the United Methodist Church.

George received a bachelor's degree from James Madison University, Master of Science from the University of Tennessee and a doctorate in education from University of Virginia.

Bio:

As Founder and Creative Director of The Rejection Hotline and RH Brands, LLC, Jeff handles the strategic direction for the company and the creative direction for all RH Brands' properties. Originally from Framingham, Massachusetts, Jeff is a 1999 graduate of Emory University in Atlanta with a degree in Journalism and Philosophy. After a 4-year hold on the title of "World's Worst Entrepreneur" (due to the fact that his various ventures were reaching millions and millions of people and receiving steady national media coverage, yet consistently losing him money and relegating him to a life in which he was forced to live as the House Mom in the Sigma Nu fraternity house at Emory), Jeff made the best decision of his entrepreneurial career when he fired himself as CEO of his own company in 2006.

Glen's Bio:

Glen Gould's background includes contracting for Fortune 500 companies, working with volunteer organizations, and owning retail businesses in the dry cleaning, golf, and facility maintenance industries.

He is the Director of Small to Mid-size Business at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He studied political science at the University of South Florida and has studied personal networking and relationships for over twenty-five years. He's married to his high school sweetheart Tammy and they have two boys.

A sought after speaker and consultant to chambers of commerce, Glen is the author of three books, numerous manuals and audio programs including "101 Networking Nuggets" and "Is Your Networking Working?" Glen heard more than ten thousand self-introductions or elevator speeches in the last year alone. He works with beginning networkers to help them get plugged in and with experienced networkers to make them master networkers.

Brian Pilger is the Vice President for Transportation at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. As part of the Public Policy Division - which focuses on Quality of Life issues in the Atlanta region - Brian's efforts focus on improving traffic congestion throughout the metro area.

Before joining the Metro Atlanta Chamber in 2003, Brian was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm, for several years and a Quality Leader and Sales Manager for the GE Energy. Brian began his professional career as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.

Brian holds a Masters Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor's Degree from the United States Naval Academy. He lives in the City of Atlanta with his wife, Laura Lee, and their three children.

JCI Atlanta was proud to have 2007 World President, Scott Greenlee in town on April 1st and 2nd. We held a nice reception for him on Sunday night with the Board of Directors, and 25+ active members from Atlanta. Monday morning started with the Podcast Interview heard here, and then it was on to meet with top level executives from the Georgia Entrepreneurs Society , Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and the Mayor's office. The day ended with a great round of golf at one of Atlanta's many fine golf courses, and then dinner at Fogo de Chåo. Scott then made his way to Augusta, GA the next day to attend a practice round at the prestigious Master's Golf Tournament.

Born on November 17, 1967, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, Greenlee works as a self-employed businessman and political consultant. He resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, with his wife Gina.

After joining JCI Grand Rapids in 1991, Greenlee became active in different roles and was elected JCI Grand Rapids Local President in 1996, JCI Michigan State President in 2001, and JCI USA National Vice President in 2002.

At the international level, in 2003, as JCI Vice President, Greenlee was assigned to Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden. In 2005, he served as JCI General Legal Counsel. In 2006, as JCI Executive Vice President, Greenlee was assigned to Area B (Asia-Pacific) and chaired the Area B Conference (JCI ASPAC) in Takamatsu, Japan.

Greenlee has attended eight JCI Area Conferences and five JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator (Honorary Life Member) No. 60646.
